From the perspective of teaching environment and teaching organization, CELAJ’s curriculum can be classified into three categories, namely, classroom teaching, site visits, and social practice.
Classroom teaching courses include compulsory courses and optional courses. So far CELAJ has developed more than 200 class teaching courses.
Site-visit courses include compulsory sites and optional sites . The aim of site-visit courses is to urge the trainees to understand the Party history and learn from the revolutionary martyrs of their lofty ideal, firm belief, hard-working style, strong will, and outstanding ability, and ultimately enrich the trainees’ mind and sublimate their affection for the Party. They are conducted by means of site lecture, site experience and situation simulation, using the rich revolutionary historical resources of Jinggang Mountains and its surrounding area as a classroom for leadership education of revolutionary tradition.
As far as social practice is concerned, some towns and villages are selected for trainees to carry out social activities and surveys, guiding them to understand the ways of people and improve their abilities in analyzing and solving practical problems.
